Celebrating its 8th year, the 2025 Feng Ye Dance Annual Gala brings together nearly one hundred performers ages 4 to 60, showcasing the artistic diversity, training achievements, and cultural strength of FENG YE DANCE Studio, one of the Bay Area’s leading Chinese dance institutions.
Founded in 2017 in San José by Artistic Director Feng Ye, the studio is shaped by her distinguished career as former President and Artistic Director of the China National Song and Dance Troupe. Awarded the title of “National First-Class Dancer,” Ms. Ye has performed at the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and served as choreographer for the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. Her artistic vision blends technical excellence with emotional depth, defining the unique style of the company.
Since its founding, the studio has produced high-quality stage works each year and has been invited to perform internationally, including:
Royal Academy of Music, London (2024)
Louvre Museum, Paris (2025) — part of the official celebration of 60 years of China–France diplomatic relations
The company has also served as the exclusive Chinese New Year dance guest for three consecutive years at Westfield Valley Fair, the largest indoor shopping mall in the United States—sharing Chinese culture with audiences from around the world.
Rooted in Oriental aesthetics and traditional Chinese culture, FENG YE DANCE Studio integrates contemporary, cross-disciplinary, and experimental elements to create original works that speak to modern audiences and promote intercultural understanding. Today, it stands as a vibrant cultural force in the San Francisco Bay Area, nurturing new generations of dancers and building bridges through art.
