Camp Counselor (Plaza Summer Camp)
Position: Seasonal Full-time
Compensation: $20-$25 per hour
Position Overview: The School of Arts and Culture at Mexican Heritage Plaza (SOAC) is seeking creative team player to fill the role of a Camp Counselor for a seasonal full-time position. A Camp Counselor takes direction and reports to the Arts Education Program Manager in the execution of their duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities include supporting various tasks throughout the camp day. Each camper group will be overseen by two camp counselors who work as a team. The primary role involves safely co-leading camper groups within the Plaza while assisting teaching artists during their lessons in Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Musical Theater, and Sports. Additionally, counselors will manage the setup and cleanup of supplies, provide guidance to small and large groups of children, and communicate the needs of children and families effectively. Extended Care Camp Counselor (Plaza Summer Camp)
Position: Seasonal Part-time
Compensation: $20-$25 per hour
Position Overview: The School of Arts and Culture at Mexican Heritage Plaza (SOAC) is seeking creative team-player to fill the role of a Extended Care Camp Counselor for a seasonal part-time position. A Extended Care Camp Counselors takes direction and reports to the Arts Education Program Manager in the execution of their duties and responsibilities.
The Extended Care Camp Counselor/Closer will work M - F from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. They will monitor camper safety during the extended care camp period while leading fun and engaging games and activities with the campers. Counselors working in extended care ensure children are safely signed out by an authorized parent or guardian when picked up. Floater Care Camp Counselor (Plaza Summer Camp)
Position: Seasonal Full-time
Compensation: $18-$25 per hour
Position Overview: The School of Arts and Culture at Mexican Heritage Plaza (SOAC) is seeking creative team-player to fill the role of a Floater Camp Counselor for a seasonal full-time position. Floater Camp Counselors takes direction and reports to the Arts Education Program Manager in the execution of their duties and responsibilities.
The Floater Camp Counselor will work M - TH from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and attend weekly staff meetings on TH from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. The Floater Camp Counselor will play a crucial role in supporting our camp counselors and providing assistance as needed. Marketing Manager
Position: Full-time
Compensation: $89,000 - $105,000 a year
Position Overview: The School of Arts and Culture at Mexican Heritage Plaza (SOAC) is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as the Marketing Manager. The SOAC invites applications and nominations of candidates with the skills, characteristics, and experience described below.
The Marketing Manager is a member of the Fund Development Department. This position will help to inform the overall marketing strategy for the organization, and will be responsible for its implementation. In particular, this position should have demonstrated experience in planning, branding, campaign management, event and program marketing strategy, analytics, and overall communication. This position reports to the Director of Fund Development. This position is a full-time, exempt position. The annual salary range for this role is $89,000 to $105,000.
