On Friday, December 10 from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm, La Plaza will host its 11th annual Fiesta Navideña, a community-centered holiday celebration honoring our shared traditions and celebrating the spiritual uplifting of the season.

Every year, Fiesta Navideña attracts thousands of people from all over San José. Friends and families of all ages can enjoy live performances, dance to music, share tamales, drink atole, see a posada, and celebrate the unique traditions of East San José. Highlights of this event also include a small vendor market with local businesses, arts and crafts activity booths, and a dynamic cultural lighting display.

Adding to the festivities, Los Lupeños Academy's Fall Session of folklórico dance classes will culminate their recital at the annual Fiesta Navideña celebration. Students from seven classes representing all ages and levels will demonstrate dances they've learned to family and friends.

After a grueling year and a half, La Plaza has proven to be a bridge connecting our East San José community.
